The Hong Kong Sailing Clubs, LCSD, and The Sailing Federation Hong Kong, China are at the base of the hierarchy, and they are the main driver for training and developing sailors.
The Sailing Federation, Hong Kong China is the governing body of sailing in Hong Kong, and it oversees the development of the sport in Hong Kong, and advances the interests of the boating community. It advises on the selection criteria for the National Team. It works closely with the Class Associations (including HKLCA) on competitions, the Sports Federation and Hong Kong Olympic Committee on Team Selection Criteria, and the Hong Kong Sports Institute on training the National team and developing the sport.
